Hemp vs. marijuana
Hemp and marijuana are both members of the cannabis sativa family and share similarities. However, they are two separate and distinct species with different therapeutic applications. Hemp has a very low concentration of THC (0.3 percent or less) and is commonly used to produce a variety of CBD products because of its naturally-high cannabidiol content. CBD has the same therapeutic value whether it’s derived from hemp or marijuana.
Will CBD get me high?
No. CBD is non-psychoactive. It does not adversely affect mood, behavior or awareness, nor does it distort perception. It has an excellent safety profile.
We ensure that all of our products adhere to the highest standards of quality, purity and potency. We use Nelson Analytics and Proverde Laboratories as third-party testers for all of our CBD wellness products. We rigorously test all of our products for terpenes, solvents, heavy metals, yeast and microbiological contamination.
Isolated vs. full-spectrum
Full-spectrum cannabis products contain other cannabinoids, flavonoids, fatty acids, terpenes, waxes and chlorophyll—basically, all the chemical compounds found in a whole-plant extract (including trace amounts of THC). In contrast, isolated CBD is pure, 99.4 percent (or higher) cannabidiol. It contains nothing else. We always indicate in the product description whether a product is full-spectrum or isolated.
The way CBD is metabolized by your body can interfere with certain medications. Consult a trusted medical provider or pharmacist and discuss your concerns before using CBD products.
Source of CBD
Our CBD is sourced from fully-compliant, state-licensed hemp farms in Colorado and Maine. All the CBD-rich hemp we use is grown with organic and sustainable farming practices.
Can you ship your products?
Yes! CBD is legal in all 50 states. As long as CBD hemp products test under 0.3 percent Delta 9 THC, it’s legal to ship and exempt from the federal Controlled Substances Act.
Do I need a medical marijuana prescription to purchase CBD?
Hemp-derived CBD products can be purchased without a medical marijuana card.
What is MCT oil?
A highly concentrated source of medium-chain triglycerides derived from coconut or palm kernel oil. Cannabinoids are best consumed with fat to increase absorption. MCT oil is used extensively outside the cannabis industry to promote brain function and weight management.

Will I fail a drug test?
We can’t say for certain. There is a trace amount of THC present in our whole-plant formulations. If you are concerned about failing a drug test, you should choose an isolated CBD product instead.
